I have a different approach. I don’t like hype. I am not going to tell you that I am in the top 1% of all realtors (I might well be, but I don’t care enough to look). I am not going to claim I am invincible, or bulletproof, or can leap tall buildings in a single bound. I’m not going to spam you, or waste your time. I’m not going to contact you if you don’t want to be contacted. I’m not going to promise things I can’t deliver, or push you into decisions you are not comfortable with, or say things to you just to make a sale.
What I will do is simple; I will be your trusted advisor for all things real estate related. And fortunately for me, my clients think I’m good at it. You see, this is about you. It’s your money, your house, your life. I am here to help you get there, wherever “there” is for you. I am simply not motivated by a single commission. What motivates me is having happy clients. The rest will (and has) taken care of itself.
I listen intently. I try my best to understand your needs, your concerns, your fears, and your preferences. I give you options, and explain your choices. I tell you the truth always. I give you advice, and make sure you see all potential outcomes. I return phone calls and emails promptly. I work hard to make sure I am up on the market and the latest trends. I network religiously and read voraciously so I can be a trusted source of real estate information for you. And I improve my skills at every opportunity so I can be as effective as possible on your behalf.
Since I might be applying for the job as your real estate agent you should know that yes, I am well qualified. I have been a real estate Broker for over 20 years, and have sold a lot of real estate in the Tri-Valley area. I integrate technology into the process to help my clients achieve their goals, and to enhance their experience. I have a degree in finance & economics, and have written extensively about real estate both on my blog and in the local and national media. In particular, I have focused much of my attention to mastering the art of negotiation. I recently attended the distinguished Program on Negotiation for Senior Executives put on by the Harvard Law School. I teach classes to other realtors on negotiation. So yes, I believe I bring a lot to the table on your behalf. If you really want to know my qualifications, call me or shoot me an email and I will send you a resume (its free). Or you can watch my video below. It’s your call.
You should know that real estate is what I do, not who I am. I do have a life outside of real estate. I am the father of 2 awesome kids. I have 2 cats, but I like dogs better. In my free time I like to play music with a couple of local bands (yes we get paid to do it), work out, hike, and read about world events, politics, and humor online. I love pop culture (I often sprinkle pop culture references in my conversations). I love College football, and sports in general. I like to facebook and twitter, and watch classic movies over and over (I have seen The Godfather Part II and Fargo over 50 times each I’m sure). I do a bunch of community stuff like volunteer at the local schools, and I especially love getting involved in assisting veterans and their families. And no, I don’t like long walks on the beach!
Yes I have help. The 680 Group is my team of awesome professionals who work with me to get the job done. They are enthusiastic, professional, responsive, eager to help, and great to work with too!
So that is me in a nutshell. If you are looking for someone to help you with your real estate needs, give me a call or drop me an email. The one thing I can promise you is that I care, my team cares, and we will be there to assist you every step of the way. And we will have a little fun in the process!
