Alamo School Information

Alamo is mostly served by the San Ramon Valley Unified School District, which serves the communities of Danville, San Ramon, Alamo, Blackhawk, and Diablo. It is one of the largest school districts in California, with 35 schools and over 26,000 students. It ranks among the top 2% of all unified school districts in the state. Over 94% of its graduating seniors go on to attend colleges or universities. SRVUSD schools have won the California Distinguished School award more than 50 times, and have also won numerous National Blue Ribbon School awards. The district provides a wide range of programs for their students, including gifted student programs, counseling, after school child care, music instruction, and competitive sports. A small portion in the North of Alamo is served by the Walnut Creek School District.
