Dublin February Market Update - Steady as She Goes

The Dublin CA real estate market was steady in February, with inventory and sales edging up slightly. The inventory of available homes in Dublin rose slightly, with 94 single family homes on the market at the end of February, up from 84 at the end of January. Sales activity was steady, with 27 pending sales of single family homes in February, up slightly from the 26 pending sales in January. All in all, Dublin has continued to be a relatively steady market.

Dublin is still seeing a high percentage of distressed sales, including REO/Bank Owned and short sales. As a result, prices are still trending down in Dublin. Here is a look at the Median price per sq ft in Dublin right now. This graph shows the the current median price per sq ft now and 2 years ago.

Average days on market has actually dropped, and is trending downward, at least for the moment. It is still around 120 days on average

All in all, Dublin is doing pretty well right now, and we are entering the prime Spring housing market. And with St. Patty’s Day around the corner, things in Dublin are looking up. Now, where is the green beer?
