The Dublin CA real estate market continued to sizzle in September, with inventory dropping to levels that we have not seen in years. The available inventory of single family homes in Dublin stood at 31 at the end of September, down from 37 at the end of August and 56 at the end of July. Pending sales declined some in September, with 34 single family homes going into contract in September, down from 46 in August.
Much of the slow down in sales can be attributed to a lack of inventory. After all, a buyer can’t purchase a home that is not for sale. Still, there is less than one month’s inventory as of the end of September, which is a very hot market by any measure. We’ll see if inventory remains low as we get deeper into the Fall.
