Pleasanton Home Sales March 2010

The market saw more closed home sales in March, with 40 closed single family homes, up from 30 in February. The median sales price for Pleasanton was $721,750 in March, down from $746.500 in February. The median price per square foot also dropped to $337 in March, from $351 in February.

The average days on market for the closed sales was 52 in February, down from 58 in February. On average, homes sold for 96.6% of the asking price. 27.5% of the closed sales were distressed sales, either short sales or bank owned properties. This is up from 10% in February. 11 of the 40 home sales, or 27.5%, were over $1 million. 5 of the 11 upper end sales were in .
