Danville Home Sales April 2010

The real estate market saw more closed home sales in April, with 53 closed single family homes, compared to 45 in March. The median sales price for Danville was $880,000 in April, up from $820,000 in March. The median price per square foot was unchanged at $346.

The average days on market for the closed sales was 58 in April, down from 67 in March. On average, homes sold for 97% of the asking price. 11% of the closed sales were distressed sales, either short sales or bank owned properties. This is down from 24% in March. 16 of the 53 home sales, or 30%, were over $1 million.

The Danville neighborhoods of , , , and all showed strong activity in April.
