Pleasanton Home Sales April 2010

The real estate market saw one more closed home sale in April than March, with 41 closed single family homes. The median sales price for Pleasanton was $752,000 in April, up from $721,750 in March. The median price per square foot also increased to $340 in April from $337 in March.

The average days on market for the closed sales was 40 in April, down from 52 in March. On average, homes sold for 97% of the asking price. 20% of the closed sales were distressed sales, either short sales or bank owned properties. This is down from 28% in March. 13 of the 41 home sold, or 32%, were over $1 million.

The neighborhoods of , , and all saw strong activity in April.
