CNN/Money magazine just came out with their top 100 Best Places to Live in 2010, and Pleasanton came in at number 63. Hey, not bad! The only other California cities to make the list were Irvine (22), Yorba Linda (38), and Rocklin (65).
The only negative mentioned was that “homes are expensive”. No kidding. Do you think that might be related to how desirable the city is? Turloch has cheap homes, but I’m willing to bet the farm that it will not make this list anytime soon.
All in all, considering the state of the economy in California, we are doing pretty well here in ol’ Ptown. Just need to pump up the downtown area, and bring back Hot August Nights, and we might make number 1 on the list!

We're Number 63!
