The Parks of Danville: Sycamore Valley

Along the tree lined stretch of Camino Tassajara lies the stunning Sycamore Valley Park. The wide expanse of rolling hills and gorgeous willows are likely to be the first thing to catch your eye, followed by the graceful fountain and reflection pond.

Beautifully planned, Sycamore Valley Park is one of Danville’s best, and it truly has something for everyone. Sports lovers will appreciate the baseball fields and soccer fields, and Bocce lovers will delight in the lovingly maintained bocce lanes. There is also a jogging path throughout the park.

Picnics and parties have ample picnic tables and barbecue pits, and the mature trees provide ample shade from the hot summer sun.

The play ground is recently renovated, with a safe foam surface, and rather unique play structures for both young and older children. Serious players will be happy to find swings for both little ones and big kids, and there is even a sandpit to dig to their heart’s content. In the summer months, the water feature keeps kids nice and cool.
