Around this time of year, the playing fields all over the San Ramon Valley area are dominated by red and white jerseys. In an area where soccer is nearly a religion, children of all ages are ready to begin another exciting season. Of the various leagues, Mustang Soccer is one of the most respected, not only locally, but nationwide.

With an impressive record and an expansive program, Mustang Soccer has players from as young as Kindergarten all the way to 18 years of age, and divisions spanning Division 4 recreational programs to the most elite Division 1 teams that compete all across the country. Nearly 5,000 children participate yearly. The league is so expansive they opened the awe inspiring Mustang Soccer Complex on the east side of Danville in 2007.

The club’s success not only comes from the organization and its players, but from the dedication of the families involved. Hours of volunteer work, coaching, and refereeing all help to make for a positive learning environment for the children who learn the love of the game.
