Alamo finally has a logo. Certainly, when it comes to pressing problems and community issues, not having a logo is not high on the list. But it certainly does help give the city an identity, and helps with the branding of the town. It was designed by Ginnie Anderson, a local Realtor. It features a horse, rolling hills, and oak trees. It certainly captures the essence of the town, although you might argue that it is not complete without a huge multi-million dollar estate on top of the hill. But it is definitely a nice look. Expect to see it on t-shirts, city signs, and other community fixtures. Because Alamo is unincorporated, you will NOT see it on police cars and fire trucks, or other vehicles you see in other cities of the Tri-Valley (Alamo residents voted down the last attempt to incorporate).
