Goodguys Car Show Autumn Get Together this Weekend

The Goodguys Rod and Custom Association shows at the Alameda County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton are always a great way to spend a day.  This weekend, November 13-14, they will hold their 21st Autumn Get-Together.

More than 3,000 American made cars will be on display.  While Goodguys holds more than one auto show every year, this is always my favorite event because it highlights all the muscle cars of the 60’s and 70’s.  It is always a treat to see all the old Mustangs, Camaros, Corvettes and all the other great muscle cars of the day.

This is a fun way to spend a day with the family, enjoying all the cars, vendors, exhibits and a swap meet.  There will even be a kid’s area.  There are usually lots of vintage auto-related toys, signs and other memorabilia to make it fun for everyone.

If you’re feeling like driving fast, enter your car in the Street Challenge Autocross.  Test your driving skills on a twisting turning course laid out at the venue.
