Downtown Pleasanton to get new retail building

If you live in Pleasanton, you how popular Tully’s Plaza is.  Located at the corner of W. Angela and Main St, it is the perfect place to hang out and drink coffee, enjoy treats from Cold Stone or Bibiane Bakery, and chat with friends or just people watch.

Now the developers of Tully’s Plaza is planning a new project for Main St in Pleasanton. Main Street Property Services is set to build a retail building at the location currently occupied by the vacant building at 234 Main St. There are plans for a restaurant, along with retail space. It should be a major boost to the South end of Main Street, which tends to be a bit off the beaten path for foot traffic. Hopefully, it will breathe new life into downtown Pleasanton. If the developers can pull off something similar to Tully’s Plaza it will be a major step in the right direction. Here’s hoping…
