The lack of inventory continues to be the story in the Ironwood Classics neighborhood of Pleasanton. There are no active listings and no pending sales. Two sales have closed this year, along with two other’s that closed in the second half of 2010.
The average sales price of the four closed sales was $906,875 or $347 per square foot. They sold for 97% of the asking price and were on the market for an average of 26 days. The two sales that closed in 2011 were listed for 3 and 13 days, respectively. 1156 Wenig Court and 1136 Donahue Drive were short sales.

Ponderosa Classic at Ironwood feature homes ranging from 2,100 square feet to 3,100 square feet, on lots typically in the 5,000 – 6,000 square foot range. Additionally, there are a handful of duettes in the 1,400-1,800 square foot range. Ironwood is located on the Eastern edge of town, with good access to schools, downtown Pleasanton and Shadow Cliffs Regional Recreation Area. Many of the homes have nice views of the ridge and the hills of the Livermore Valley.
