Closed sales of single family detached homes in Dublin increased to 29 in May, from 20 in April. The median sales price increased to $650,000 from $500,000 in April. The median price per square foot, however, decreased to $261 in May from $276 in April.
May’s closings were on the market for 50 days, compared to 48 for sales that closed in April. The sales price as a percentage of the list price was largely unchanged at 98%. 45% of the May’s closed sales were distressed (short sale or REO) compared to 55% in April.
The neighborhoods of Dublin Ranch, Silvergate, and SummerGlen all showed strong activity for the month.
