You might remember him back from the second season of American Idol. Fan favorite Josh Gracin, a former member of the United States Marine Corps who belted out country songs with grit and emotion, will bring his talents to the Firehouse Theater in Pleasanton May 31.
After his stint on the singing show, Gracin completed his military service. After his honorable discharge, he signed with a record label and debuted his first album in 2004. “Nothin’ to Lose” went to Number One. His second album came in 2008, with five more chart singles. His newest offering is “Redemption.”
Gracin’s big break came when he sang Rascal Flatts’ “I’m Movin’ On” on American Idol. The band, watching the show on their tour bus, was impressed and put Gracin in touch with their own record producer, leading up to his debut album.
The Firehouse Arts Center is located at 4444 Railroad Avenue in Pleasanton.
Ticket prices range from $20 to $30.
