The Old Town neighborhood of Pleasanton has continued its sleepy was so far this year. Only one sale has closed here in 2012, compared to two during all of 2011 and one in 2010. No sales are pending and there are no active listings.
The table below shows all closed sales since the beginning of 2010. The only closed sale this year was on Abbie Street and it closed in July. The sales price was $952,000 or $368 per square foot, which was about 101% of the asking price. The home was listed for only six days. It was not a short sale or REO.
Built in the early 1980′s, Old Town embodies the traditional charm of old Pleasanton. These quaint homes range in size from 2,250 to 3,000 square feet, with mostly 3 car garages and generous lots. They are located off Bernal Avenue, near First Street and within walking distance of downtown Pleasanton.
