Everybody in Dublin was Irish, at least for the weekend, as the city held its annual St. Patrick’s Day Festival. The festival was held this past Saturday and Sunday and was a celebration of all things green, and this popular event has become a tradition.

The Callippe Preserve Trail encirlces the golf course of the same name and offers stunning views of Mt. Diablo, the Pleasanton Ridge and the hills surronding the area. It is no more than 10 minutes away from anywhere in Pleasanton but is not heavily utilized.
Augustin Bernal Park at the Pleasanton Ridge offers spectacular scenery and stunning views of the valley. It seems a world away, but is easily accessible off Foothill Road. With miles of hiking and mountain biking trails, it is a perfect place to go to escape the hustle and bustle of suburbia.
