Pleasanton - Amador Estates/Jensen

Conveniently located at the gateway to downtown Pleasanton, Amador Estates and the Jensen development were two of the original subdivisions in Pleasanton. These neighborhoods are located on Santa Rita Rd across from Amador Valley High School, and near Alisal Elementary School.

The Jensen tract was built first in the mid to late 1950's. Amador Estates was built in the early to mid 1960's. The homes here are older, but the neighborhood is quaint, most of the homes have been remodeled or updated.  Homes range in size from 1100 sq ft to 1700 sq ft, on 6000 to 7000 sq ft lots. Almost all of these homes are ranch style homes with 2 car garages.  The neighborhood is quaint, with lots of trees.  It is the charming, mature nature of the neighborhood and it's convenient location close to downtown Pleasanton that makes it attractive to home buyers.
